Sakneen MCP privacy policy

This policy covers the Sakneen MCP connector at https://mcp.sakneen.com/mcp. The connector lets AI tools such as Claude read an organization's Sakneen data for a signed-in Sakneen user. The Sakneen platform itself is covered by your organization's agreement with Sakneen.
What the connector does
The connector is read-only and limited to your organization. It answers requests from your organization's own Sakneen data and can't create, change or delete records. Sakneen checks your account and organization membership on every request.
What we collect
- Account details: your Sakneen user ID, your organization and the AI tool you connected. We record them when you sign in so we can check your access on every request.
- Sign-in tokens: the tokens your AI tool uses to reach the connector. We store only a one-way hash of each token. Tokens from our sign-in provider are stored encrypted.
- Queries: the queries and parameters your AI tool sends. We use them to answer the request, and the connector doesn't store them. Analytics queries run in Sakneen's Google BigQuery project, which keeps its own job history, including the query text.
- Request logs: standard web server logs for each request, with the time, address, IP address, client name, status and response time. They don't include query contents or results.
The connector doesn't collect payment details, government ID numbers or health information.
How we use it
We use this information only to sign you in, check your access, answer your requests, and keep the service secure and working. We don't use it for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Where it's stored
The connector runs on Google Cloud and stores its records in Sakneen's MongoDB Atlas database. Data travels over HTTPS.
Who we share it with
- Your AI tool. Results go to the AI tool you connected, such as Claude by Anthropic, which handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Service providers. Google Cloud (hosting, BigQuery and logging), MongoDB Atlas (database) and Auth0 (sign-in) process data for us.
- When the law requires it. We may disclose information to comply with a legal obligation.
We don't share connector data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your organization's Sakneen data itself is kept under your organization's agreement with Sakneen.

You can disconnect at any time from your AI tool's connector settings. To ask about or delete connector data about you, contact us.
